Stinging Nettle, A Shiner, and Sitting around a Fire

After debating over and over again if I could survive camping with 3 under 3 I finally took the plunge and I am so glad I did. Unfortunately Landon was leaving in the middle of the week and I had to work...so I took the kids up later alone. Of course we had a few delays...I left the lights on in our car so the day started with a dead battery and then a potty break at Holly's but other than that it was smooth sailing. The rest is history four wheeling, horseback riding, playing in the water, chasing lizards, smores and so much more.
The bears were clearly in the area, but no luck for Landon.....

It was so beautiful...Here's the boys heading out

We met new friends and had a great time. Their were lots of kids...but even more dogs. The kids entertained themselves the entire time by making a dam for swimming, building a bridge, target shooting, branding their names into wood. I love camping it brings out so much creativity.
Josie had a pal the entire time. Olivia just turned 3 and is about a head taller then Josie....genetics
Payton's favorite activity....throwing rocks into the water....did I mention I hate this activity
Gib, Larry, and Craig made a quick trip up and went riding one day
Landon and Payton
Josie was riding a four-wheeler with a cousin and bumped her cheek on the handle bars. Her cheek immediately started swelling and extended from her ear to her eye...she thought it was great because it was purple.
Haylee chillin' in the shade
Payton exploring...which explains the stinging nettle
We met a lot of new friends and everyone was so nice and helpful. All of the little girls loved Haylee so this helped me out a bunch!!!

Payton learning to rope
Definate signs of a good camping trip....this was about two minutes out of the parking lot
