Merry Christmas!!!!!
Hope everyone has a great Christmas. It looks like we are finally 'wrapping' things up around here. We survived all the family Christmas parties. I've made it past the guilt that I was receiving from every Christmas card that came in the mail, knowing that I had not sent any this year. And lets be honest it was the same thing with all of the neighbor gifts as well. I'm not sure why but this Christmas season we have been in survival mode. We have had some great moments as a family to reflect on the true reason for the season. On the nights that we have actually been home we have sat around the Christmas tree at night and been able to read Christmas stories and sing songs. It does seem to be a challenge to help the kids realize that the birth of our Saviour gives us much more joy than Santa could ever dream of. I love this time of the year it and the opportunity it gives each of us to remember the true divinity of Jesus Christ.

She needs to STOP growing up....

Oh Jo-Jo look at you ..... all grown up. Seems like yesterday we were bringing you home from the hospital. You are such a sweet thing. Josie you make me laugh everyday....every single day. You have a very fun personality. You are also one tough chic, I don't think I will have to worry about you standing up to anyone. Thank you for being such a great big sister. I love to listen as you sing to Haylee each night. You spoil Haylee more than any of us, you are always worried about her feelings being hurt. I hope that you and Payton can continue to be best friends. You are my big helper and I am so thankful for you. You still love your Nana more than anything...I'm guessing you are going to grow up to be a shopper just like her. Your family loves you so much, thanks for bringing sunshine into our lives!!!

Happy 5th Birthday!!!!!

HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!!!

Nana had her annual Halloween Party and the kids all loved it. Some of the festivities were eating Mummy-dogs, carving pumpkins and frosting sugar cookies. Here we are at the neighbors pumpkin patch looking for the perfect pumkins.

Going to the Zoo with the Zoo....

Savoring one of the last beautiful days of fall Hannah, Rachel, Holly and I decided to brave the crowds and take all the kids to Hogle Zoo. The weather was amazing. It was a really fun day. There were a lot of baby animals and that made it fun...baby animals are so much cuter. The day actually went well considering we had seven kids under the age of four. Holly even managed to save some poor lost child, we were all surprised she gave him back to his mom.

Josie and Payton chattin' it up with some monkeys...much to Annie's dismay.
Strange creatures I tell you....

Zuri - the baby elephant
Haylee was fine the entire time at the Zoo, EXCEPT at the elephants. I don't know why but she had a total breakdown there.

Haylee hanging on for dear life...
